Please Note – All volunteers will need to undergo a DBS check.


We currently need volunteer drivers who live in Stapleford, Beeston, Chilwell, Toton, Attenborough or Bramcote.
Your role – use your own car to drive clients to local appointments, shopping, lunch groups etc.
The clients either cannot access public transport or have no one living near to drive them.
You would be reimbursed for your petrol expenses.

Office Volunteer

Times to suit you (Monday-Friday) within school hours.
No experience necessary, training given.
General office duties (answering phones, photocopying etc).
Helping with events & activities.
Handling enquiries.

Befriender Volunteer

To give a little and get a lot

Do you have a couple of hours spare each week?

The Helpful Bureau is looking for skilled people to join our Board of Trustees to help us to grow and develop services. Our Trustees provide strategic direction and play an active part in our development and growth.

Our board meetings are usually held in the evenings, every 6 weeks.

There are opportunities for Trustees to lead on specific areas of work if interested.
